EARLIER | A winter weather advisory will go into effect starting Tuesday night at 9 p.m. and go until 6 a.m. Wednesday morning in Kansas City.
There could up 2 inches of snow accumulation in some areas.
According to 41 Action News meteorologist Wes Perry, isolated spots could see up to 3 inches from heavy bands of snowfall.
People should plan on slippery road conditions during their commute.
