KANSAS CITY, Mo. — With dangerous weather conditions in the Kansas City metro, 41 Action News has compiled a list of resources and warming centers for anyone in need.

WARMING CENTERS:
Jackson County:

  • Brush Creek Community Center, 3801 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Garrison Community Center, 1124 East Fifth Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Gregg/Klice Community Center, 1600 John "Buck" O'Neil Way, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Hillcrest Community Center, 10401 Hillcrest, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Kansas City North Community Center, 3930 Northeast Antioch Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Line Creek Community Center, 5940 Northwest Waukomis Drive, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but hours vary. People are encouraged to call before arriving.
  • Marlborough Community Center, 8200 Paseo Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Roger T. Sermon Community Center, 201 North Dodgion Street, Independence, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Feb. 16.
  • Scott Eicke Warming Center, Bartle Hall, 301 West 13th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. daily.
  • Westport Roanoke Community Center, 3601 Roanoke Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services offers a map to track where warming centers are throughout the state.

In Kansas City, Kansas, there are seven warming centers, which can be accessed on the KCK Unified Government website.

For RideKC riders, there's warming buses at the East Village Transit Center at East 12th Street & Charlotte Street.
