KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The first snow of the 2019-20 season arrived Monday night in Kansas City, bringing joy for some and sadness for others.
Here are a few scenes from last night’s mini Winter Wonderland, a prelude to perhaps another snow-filled winter across the Midwest.
Winter Wonderland? Not quite, but snow arrives in KC
Some locations had nearly an inch of accumulation on decks and lawn furniture, but it was mostly wet flakes that quickly melted away.
There may be icy patches on the roads overnight and for the morning commute, so beware and give yourself extra time to get around.
An even stronger system, which could dump up to three inches on parts of the KC area, is developing for later in the week.
