KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman died early Wednesday night in a crash along U.S. 71 Highway.
According to Kansas City, Missouri, police, around 6:30 p.m., a silver Hyundai Sonata was traveling south on the highway on the ramp to Red Bridge Road at a high speed when the driver lost control.
The Hyundai struck the curb, went airborne, hit a rock wall and landed in a culvert.
The driver was not wearing her seat belt. No one else was in the car.
