Shots fired, woman struck by car in Olathe disturbance

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Olathe police are investigating a disturbance where shots were reportedly fired and a woman was struck by a car.

Around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the area of 300 West Prairie Street.

They said several people were involved in the disturbance.

Police said they don't know of anyone was hurt in the shooting, but the woman who appears to have been hit by a car is expected to survive.

Officers were able to find the driver and other people who were inside the car that struck the woman. Her identity is unknown.
