KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman died Friday evening after a crash near East 19th Street and Sterling Avenue in Independence.
Police said a westbound motorcycle collided with a northbound Ford F-250 around 5:00 p.m.
The man driving the motorcycle and the woman riding with him were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The woman later died of her injuries.
The driver of the Ford was not hurt in the crash, police said.
Police are investigating what caused the crash.
