KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, Police say a woman told them she was shot Saturday night on the Country Club Plaza.
According to police, the woman took herself to an area hospital around 1 a.m. for treatment of a gunshot wound.
At the hospital, she told officers she was on the Plaza when she was shot, but told officers she had no other information to provide.
A police spokesperson said they investigated the sounds of gunfire at that same time in the area of 43rd Street and Main Street, but did not locate any scene or witnesses.
The woman’s injuries are not life-threatening.
