KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Police are investigating a shooting Friday morning that left a woman in serious condition.
Officers were called out to the 4400 block of Cleveland Avenue before 8 a.m. on the shooting.
A police spokesperson said two women were arguing in the front yard of a residence when one of them shot the other.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, while the other woman fled the scene. Police say they know the shooter’s identity and don’t believe the public is in any danger.
