In a statement posted on twitter, KU Director of Athletics Jeff Long wrote that after consulting with medical personnel, all travel would be suspended.
Additionally, “all home and away athletics events have been suspended indefinitely.”
The Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team was set to take to the court today as part of the Big 12 Tournament.
However, the league canceled the games earlier Thursday morning.
