KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Midwest Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association decided Monday afternoon to cancel its MOPACA Invitational Alpaca Show due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, organizers had said MOPACA would continue, but would not be open to visitors given local and federal restrictions on gatherings of more than 50 people.
The association said it regretted the decision, but made it “in the interest of [its] members and attendees.”
The show was scheduled for March 28 and March 29 at the Hale Arena.
