KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A medical crew was called to meet a flight landing at Kansas City International Airport Sunday afternoon after passengers became alarmed.
According to the Kansas City Health Department, passengers on the flight became concerned about another passenger that was wearing a mask.
The flight crew, operations out of “an abundance of caution,” notified KCI, which in turn notified the Kansas City Fire Department and KCHD.
Health department officials tweeted that the passenger was assessed and determined there was no need to follow up with other passengers or crew.
