At least one person is dead in house fire in Lawrence on Thursday.
Fire crews were called to the fire in the 900 block of Pennsylvania Street at about 2:49 p.m.
Officials said a Lawrence Police Department first responder arrived on the scene first and pulled one person from the house. Medical crews declared the person dead on the scene.
Firefighters had the fire under control by 3:07 p.m.
Crews are working to determine the cause of the fire.
