A fire that started in a vehicle also caught a house on fire early Thursday morning.
The fire was reported at 167th and Grandview in Johnson County.
Firefighters said they have the fire under control but it's not yet out.
The car was not running at the time but was attached to a battery charger, according to authorities.
The family who lived there evacuated the house. No injuries were reported.
