Nearly a dozen residents have been displaced following an overnight apartment fire in Gardner, Kansas.
Crews were called to a 2-alarm fire at the Pinewood Apartments near 56 Highway and Moonlight Road around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials say the fire started outside the apartment building before moving inside the structure. Residents woke up to the sound of windows breaking.

The building has been deemed a complete loss. No injuries were reported.
Red Cross is on the scene assisting those who lost their home. The owner of the apartment building is also offering hotels to residents.
