KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 3-year-old is recovering after being shot in Kansas City, Kansas, Thursday night.
KCK Police Chief Terry Ziegler tweeted the incident happened near 72nd Street and Kansas Avenue.
The toddler was shot as the car they were riding in passed another, and the occupants of that vehicle began shooting.
Ziegler said the victim is in stable condition.
