Man charged in triple homicide after men found dead in KCK home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder after three men were found dead inside a home near 11th and Tenny on April 3.

Mondale Douglas is in custody in Wyandotte County on a $1 million bond. 

The Wyandotte County District Attorney said the homicides happened on or about April 2. 

The victims have been identified as Edward A. Rawlins, 50, David C. Rawlins, 45 and Addrin C. Coats, 39. 

Douglas has been in custody since April 4 on a failure to appear warrant out of Johnson County.

His first court appearance on the new charges will be Thursday at 8 a.m.
