KCK police are investigating after a man was fatally shot in his car late Monday night.
Authorities responded to the area between Minnesota Avenue and State Avenue around 10:15 p.m. following reports of shots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers located a male in his early 30s inside his car with gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The victim has been identified as Jeffery Wing, 34, of Kansas City, Kansas.
There is no suspect information at this time.
