Kansas City, Kan., police and fire crews were called out to assist on a suspicious package investigation at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
According a text message sent to students, the package was reported at 11:19 a.m. late Wednesday morning.
The Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department's hazmat team was also dispatched to the scene.
The scene was cleared after noon on Wednesday.
There was no apparent threat with the package, dispatchers said.
