Reward increased for information on homicide of pregnant Olathe woman

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Greater Kansas City Crime Stoppers Thursday announced an increase in the reward for information about the January 2018 homicide of a pregnant woman in Olathe, Kansas. 

Twenty-three-year-old Ashley Harlan was found dead in the Westerfield Townhomes off East Westerfield Place on Jan. 30. 

She was 20 weeks pregnant at the time and about to find out the sex of her baby.

Crime Stoppers, in conjunction with the Olathe Police Department, is asking the public to come forward with more detailed information.

According to a news release, they have received multiple tips, but need more detail to solve the case.

Olathe police contributed an additional $3,000 to the reward fund, bringing the total up to a possible $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and/or filing of charges.

Crime Stoppers said all information is anonymous.
