Kate Thompson was found safe on Friday, Overland Park police said.

The Overland Park Police Department sent out a news release Friday asking for help to find a missing teenage girl.
Kate Thompson, 15, was last seen in the 7800 block of Marty on foot on June 9. Police said she lives in South Carolina, but she was staying in Overland Park for the summer with her sister.
Kate is 5'2" tall and weighs 160 pounds.
She has high-functioning autism. Kate has not had her medications that she requires in over a month, according to police.
