OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Overland Park police are asking for the public’s help after restrooms and a structure were damaged at Sapling Grove Park.
Police said the alleged arson happened Wednesday night just before 11 p.m.
A witness told them they saw five males running east from the shelter at the time of the fire, which was caused by fireworks.
The damage is estimated to cost around $20,000 to repair.
