Don’t be surprised to see a sleigh with eight tiny reindeer double-parked outside the Overland Park Convention Center for the next four days.
The Holiday Boutique is the place to be for everyone’s seasonal shopping lists.
More than 275 companies will come together under one roof to show off everything from jewelry to gourmet foods to kids’ stuff to homegrown KC goodies.
There is an admission price of $12 at the door.
At the same time, you can stroll through the Festival of Trees.
Want a Chiefs tree? Got it. How about one with trains running through it? No problem. Carousel tree? It’s here.
Dozens of trees and wreaths designed and donated by local individuals, companies and civic groups are up for auction.
The best part: Proceeds go directly to the Johnson County Christmas Bureau to make it a happier holiday for thousands of low-income children and families.
So, if you want to get in the holiday spirit, get a great jump on your holiday shopping and help create an amazing holiday for those in need.
Oh, one thing. If the driver of that previously mentioned sleigh is ahead of you in the checkout line, it may be a while. His list is pretty long.
