OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — The Overland Park Farmers’ Market is officially open on Wednesdays for the season through Sept. 26.
It’s one of several changes the market is making to keep up with growing demand, according to its manager.

City leaders are still evaluating the best location for the farmer’s market, which could remain in the current location or go elsewhere.
Other improvements to the market include upgrades in electrical wiring, new sidewalks, and new paint on the pavilion.

The car wash next to the market is also being demolished to make room for more parking.
The Overland Park Farmers’ Market will now be open every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
