KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The man suspected of fatally shooting two Wyandotte County deputies has been released from the hospital and is back behind bars.

Sources say Antoine Fielder is suspected of killing Deputy Patrick Rohrer and Deputy Theresa King on June 15.

Fielder was being taken back to jail after a hearing on robbery charges at the Wyandotte County Courthouse when he allegedly overpowered the deputies and stole one of their guns.

He was shot during the altercation and was hospitalized until Wednesday.

He has yet to be charged in Rohrer's or King's deaths. He's currently being held in Johnson County without bond.

In addition to the robbery charge in Wyandotte County, Fielder was already facing several other charges including murder, assault, tampering with a witness and others.
