The City of Grandview released dashcam video that shows one of their police officer save a driver Sunday.

According to Grandview police, Officer Chris Golubski attempted to pull over a driver on a suspected traffic violation near Highway 150 and the East Outer Road.

The video shows Golubski searching for the driver.

When Golubski found the driver, the driver had no pulse so he began chest compressions, according to the City of Grandview.

Police say Golubski did CPR training at the beginning of the year, which helped save the man's life.

"Everything is fluid, everything out here, anything moves quick and changes rapidly with whatever we're doing," Sgt. Dean Vanwinkle, a spokesman with the Grandview Police Department, said.

A nurse, Kristine Killiam, and her husband saw the crash and pulled over to help.

The driver’s pulse did return. The man left the scene talking to EMS workers as he was rushed to an area hospital.

Golubski is an almost three-year veteran with the department.

"He was in a law enforcement role trying to do that job and obviously things changed drastically into a lifesaving role, we feel like he did an outstanding job," Vanwinkle said.

The man who Golubski tried to pull over is recovering and received a few traffic violations for the incident. Officials said he is in stable condition.
