GRANDVIEW, Mo. — "I'm definitely scared something is wrong with them," said Charlsea Brewer.
Two important men in Brewer's life are missing.
"They were doing everything together for the last week, week and a half before their disappearances," Brewer said.
Brewer's brother, Michael Brewer, and the father of her son, Keith Wasmer, have been missing since August 6.
The two men were heading out to the Longview Lake area to meet up with a friend named Sam. Charlsea Brewer said she was on the phone with Wasmer when he got there.
"And that he'd call me back in like two minutes. And then I gave it 15, 20 minutes before I started calling back and when I called back both his and Michael's phone went straight to voicemail," said Charlsea Brewer.
She said she really started worrying when Michael Brewer’s girlfriend called that night saying the two men hadn't come home.
They haven't been seen or heard from since. There is no activity on their social media accounts either.
The Grandview Police Department told 41 Action News they are investigating Michael Brewer’s and Wasmer’s disappearances, with help from Belton and Kansas City police, but wouldn't tell us anything else.
On Wednesday evening, officials found two bodies in a wooded area at the 12500 block of Raytown Road. The families of both men went to the scene, worried that the bodies might belong to Wasmer and Michael Brewer. Police have yet to release the identities of the bodies.
Charlsea Brewer said the men were meeting with Sam at an abandoned property at 107th and Longview Parkway.
"I've never met him personally. I've just heard his name like they were going to hang out with him," Charlsea Brewer said.
Charlsea Brewer said they found out who this Sam person is but Grandview police wouldn't confirm the information with us.
She admits maybe they were up to no good but said that shouldn't matter.
"That's my brother and my boyfriend. I love them. I know my family loves them. I love them and miss them and want them to come home," Charlsea Brewer said through tears.
