A police chase and crash stopped two robbers as they fled the scene of their crime early Wednesday morning.
The men robbed the Phillips 66 Zipz convenience store at 140th and I-49 around 2 a.m.
The clerks called 911. Grandview police soon located the suspects' silver SUV and gave chase down I-49.
The suspects exited on Blue Ridge Boulevard going east when the slick roads made them lose control. They crashed and knocked over a light pole in a median at the intersection.
Both were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
It's unclear how much they took from the store.
No one else was hurt.
