According to authorities, one person was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident early Saturday morning in Independence, Missouri.
Police were called to the intersection of Walnut and Hocker just after midnight after reports of a traffic crash.
The victim was later identified as 31-year-old Gabriel Spiva of Independence.
Officials say a motorcyclist lost control and hit a parked car while driving on Walnut. The driver was declared deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by local police.
