At least three people have been arrested after stealing a vehicle and taking police on a high-speed chase.
According to the authorities, three suspects were driving in a stolen black Mercedes at Sterling and Blue Ridge in Independence, Missouri, around 1:45 a.m. Monday morning.
Police began to pursue the vehicle and the chase ended in Raytown at 59th and Hedges. One of the suspects left the stolen car and began running on foot, but was caught by police.
Shortly after that, the two remaining suspects were arrested.
Police believe the car was stolen about a week ago.
Authorities said they believe all the people involved are in custody. They are now being held in the Independence City Detention Unit.
Officers said they are still working on charges.
