One person arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at trucker on I-29 in Platte County

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly pointing a gun at a tractor-trailer driver on I-29 in Platte County, Missouri.

No shots were fired and no one was injured in the incident. 

The suspect's name has not been released.

The incident occurred on the interstate near the Missouri 92 Highway exit.

Platte County Sheriff's deputies found the suspect and the car, according to a sheriff's department spokesman.

Two pistols and two rifles were found in the car.

No word on what caused the suspect to point the gun.
