3 arrested after gunshot victim shows up at Raytown Police Department

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman with a gunshot wound went to the Raytown Police Department Wednesday night seeking help.

The shooting happened at a Valero Gas Station at 65th and Raytown Road around 8:30 p.m. Police were on their way to the gas station when the woman showed up at police headquarters a few blocks away.

Officials say the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. She was listed in critical condition as of early Thursday morning.

Police took three suspects into custody in connection to the shooting. Officers arrested the person who drove the injured woman to the police station and also made two other arrests at the gas station.

Authorities did not release the identities of any of the suspects or the victim. 

There were no other reported injuries.
