KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two teens have been charged with robbery after they allegedly used the letgo app to lure a victim.

Brandon J. Adams, 18, and Faith A. Moore, 18, are both charged with first-degree robbery. A juvenile is also believed to be involved in the crime.

According to court documents, the victim was attempting to sell a laptop, television, Xbox 360 and several video games using the letgo app.

He arranged to meet up with Moore over the app and went to an apartment at the 9300 block of E. Gregory in Raytown, Missouri to make the sale.

When he arrived, Moore allegedly took the Xbox inside and said she would return with the money. The victim then told police that two people, one of whom was wearing a mask, approached him. One of the suspects allegedly pulled a BB gun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim.

Court documents say the victim then struggled with the suspects and managed to retrieve a handgun from his vehicle and fired a shot into the air. The victim said the suspects then ran inside the apartment and he called the police.

All three were taken into custody.

Prosecutors have requested a $50,000 bond for Moore and Adams.
