KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is injured after being shot in the parking lot of Raytown South Middle School.
According to the Raytown School District, the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the school. One adult man was shot. The victim's injuries were not considered life-threatening.
There was a track meet going on nearby, which was quickly evacuated by Raytown police. No one was injured in the stadium or on the track, according to the district.
