A body was found floating in the Kansas River on Friday afternoon.
The body was found in the area of 4200 North 55th Street in KCK. Officials said Kansas City Board of Public Utilities workers spotted the body around 3:15 p.m.
Fire crews brought the body to Kaw Point, according to Kansas City, Kansas Police Chief Terry Zeigler.
