TOPEKA, Kan. – Kansas residents may soon be able to buy a drink before the sun rises.
The Kansas House of Representatives passed legislation 94-28 Tuesday that allows bars and restaurants to start selling alcohol by the drink at 6 a.m.
The Senate passed the measure 34-4 on Monday.
The bill now goes to Gov. Jeff Colyer for a signature into law. The governor hasn’t made an announcement on if he plans to sign the bill.
