The Gardner Police Department is investigating the death of a 2-year-old girl.
Police say that officers were called to the 400 block of S. Hickory on a report that a toddler was not breathing. A release said that the girl was unresponsive when officers arrived and was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The Gardner Police Department is conducting a death investigation.
