KANSAS CITY, Kan. — If Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback is confirmed for a position in the Trump administration, then it's possible Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer will have to step up to the state's highest office.
Colyer said he's been preparing for this possibility for months and has a plan to lead Kansas if he takes over as Governor.
He laid out three key areas he plans to focus on: promoting education, advocating for businesses, and bringing more jobs to Kansas.
Colyer made those comments at the newly-renovated RSI mental health facility in Kansas City, Kansas. Colyer praised RSI and the other agencies and organizations collaborating to provide full-service mental health and substance abuse to Kansas residents.
