WICHITA, Kan. – In one corner of the ring in this summer’s Republican primary for the U.S. House of Representatives 4th Congressional District sits incumbent Ron Estes.

In a campaign filing Thursday, Wichita resident Ron M. Estes filed paperwork with the Kansas Secretary of State’s office to challenge incumbent Ron Estes in the August Republican primary.
The Wichita Eagle first reportedthe filing and the subsequent trading of barbs between the two Esteses.
The Democratic primary for the 4th congressional district will feature at least two candidates. James Thompson and Laura Lombard have both filed to run.
