JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The investigation into a charity group established by Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens is growing.

A spokesperson for Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley confirmed to 41 Action News that the attorney general has issued a subpoena to the Greitens Group.

Greitens is the registered agent for the group.

The AG’s spokesperson said an attorney representing Greitens confirmed the governor had received the subpoeana.

Hawley’s subpoena of Greitens joins a list of at least 15 other subpoena’s the AG’s office issued last month.

The subpoenas stem from an investigation launched earlier this year into a veterans charity the governor established to arrange political meetings in the run-up to his bid for governor.
