KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A judge ruled late Thursday to dismiss a request made by Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens for a temporary restraining order against Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley.
Attorneys representing the governor filed the motion on April 16 against Hawley and his office. The motion would have prevented Hawley from participating in an investigation of The Mission Continues, a charity established by Greitens.
A Circuit Court of Cole County judge made the ruling following a Thursday morning hearing.
A spokeswoman in the attorney general's office said they were "pleased with the judge's order."
