A Missouri woman was charged on Thursday after making threats to FBI agents on social media.

An affidavit filed in support of the complaint alleges Safya Roe Yassin, 38, of Buffalo, Missouri maintained several Twitter and Facebook accounts where she threatened FBI agents.

She was charged with communicating threats of violence over the Internet.

On Aug. 24, 2015, Yassin allegedly posted the names, addresses and phone numbers of two FBI agents under the words "wanted to kill."

According to the affidavit, the threat began on a Twitter account associated with ISIL.

Federal investigators said they identified multiple Twitter accounts allegedly used by Yassin, many of them suspended by Twitter.

Yassin's hearing scheduled for Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. Until then, she remains in federal custody.
