MO House Minority Leader Gail McCann Beatty to resign

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri House Minority Leader Gail McCann Beatty plans to resign her post.

McCann Beatty confirmed to 41 Action News that she will resign her position on Monday to become Director of Assessment for Jackson County.

McCann Beatty was one of the leaders in the effort to get former Gov. Eric Greitens removed from office. 

She was first elected in 2010.
