The U.S. Marshals are holding a live and Web simulcast vehicle auction in Kansas City, Missouri, on Thursday, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Office.
The auction includes 25 vehicles worth more than $1.5 million. The vehicles include a Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Ford GT and 12 Ducati motorcycles.

The news release says the action starts at noon Thursday. A preview will be held Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The registration deadline to participate in the auction is Wednesday at noon.

All of the cars once belonged to Overland Park accountant Thomas Hauk, who pleaded guilty to stealing $4 million from his clients.
"When you steal a bunch of money that you wouldn't have otherwise, you've got to have something to do with it," said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Micheal Stokes.
All of the money raised at the auction will go back to Hauk's victims.
Hauk is currently awaiting sentencing.
