KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As the number of COVID-19 cases in the Kansas City area continues to rise, 41 Action News is holding a virtual town hall discussion with local experts.

Especially with the holidays approaching, people have many questions about the coronavirus.

Is it safe to gather for Thanksgiving? Will the situation be any different by Christmas?

How can I safely celebrate with my family?

Area professionals including Dr. Dana Hawkinson from the University of Kansas Health System and Dr. Jessica Benito from the Center for Healing and Recovery will answer such questions and more on the topics of a vaccine, Black Friday, holiday travel, mental health and coping during the pandemic.
