WATCH: Kansas City experts discuss ways to stay safe during holidays

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Even months and months into the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, people have questions about the virus and the ever-evolving situation its presence has created.

Tuesday, 41 Action News hosted a town hall with local experts to discuss current issues within the pandemic. Of chief concern among viewers who submitted questions were the holidays, schools, economy and a possible COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr. Dana Hawkinson of the University of Kansas Health System, Dr. Jessica Benito from the Center for Healing and Recovery, and Chairman of the KCK Chamber of Commerce Joab Ortiz joined 41 Action News anchor Caitlin Knute to talk about these topics.
