KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Four players in the Kansas City Chiefs’ starting lineup are out with illness or injuries, coach Andy Reid confirmed Thursday.
Offensive guard Kelechi Osemele is out indefinitely with torn tendons in both knees.
Linebacker Anthony Hitchens will not practice due to an illness, which Reid said to their knowledge is not COVID-19.
Fullback Anthony Sherman, however, continues through COVID-19 protocols, Reid said.
Wide receiver Sammy Watkins will not practice after suffering a hamstring injury.
