KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Not even five inches of snow could slow down Patrick Mahomes, who tossed for 340 yards with two touchdowns to Tyreek Hill on Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs walloped the Denver Broncos 23-3 on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Mahomes looked as healthy and dominant as he has since the season-opener, according to 41 Action News expert Chiefs analyst Nick Jacobs.
Mahomes completed 27 of 34 passes, including 11 for 142 yards to tight end Travis Kelce.
Kelce became the first tight end in NFL history to reach 1,000 yards receiving in four consecutive seasons with the performance.

Meanwhile, Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock struggled.
Lock, a Lee’s Summit native and University of Missouri graduate, finished 18 of 40 for 208 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in his homecoming.
But “4th & 1” co-host Tod Palmer said that was to be expected in Lock’s third career start and with the Chiefs’ defense playing its best football of the season.
Kansas City is riding its second four-game win streak of the season and hasn’t allowed more than 17 points on defense during the current stretch.
