KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs return to Arrowhead Stadium as the calendar changes to November for a battle with the New York Jets.
Coach Adam Gase’s offense has been grounded for most of the season and the winless Jets hardly seem like a threat to the reigning Super Bowl champions.
But that doesn’t mean the game doesn’t feature some intrigue.
It was barely two weeks ago that New York released running back Le’Veon Bell, who signed two days later with Kansas City and made his team debut last week in a rout at Denver.
How motivated will Bell be to play well against Gase and the Jets? What are some ways — other than winning — the Chiefs ought to define success on Sunday?
Analyst Nick Jacobs and host Tod Palmer weigh in on those questions and more in the latest “4th &” podcast from 41 Action News, the official Home of the Chiefs.
Stick around for a special interview 41 Action News Sports Director Mick Shaffer did with NFL Network analyst and former NFL coach Steve Mariucci.
If you are familiar with Shaffer’s personality or Mariucci’s sense of humor — and history with Chiefs coach Andy Reid — you’ll know it’s a can’t-miss 10 minutes.
