KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For the second consecutive year and second time in franchise history, the Kansas City Chiefs will host the AFC Championship at Arrowhead Stadium.

Of course, the AFC Divisional Round wasn’t without some serious first-half drama as the Chiefs dug an early 24-0 hole against the Houston Texans.

You know what happened after that. Safety Daniel Sorenson made two key special-teams plays and MVP quarterback/postseason-demons exorcist Patrick Mahomes outscored Deshaun Watson and company 51-7 the rest of the way in a lopsided win.

The 4th and 1 Chiefs podcast crew says once KC got to halftime with the lead, coach Andy Reid and Mahomes put their foot on the gas an never looked back.

The Chiefs now turn their attention to the Tennessee Titans, who have knocked off the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens in back-to-back weeks to earn a trip to the AFC title game.

Join the 4th and 1 Podcast later this week for a preview of the game, which is a rematch from the Chiefs' last loss — a 35-32 heartbreaker Nov. 10 in Nashville.

The 4th and 1 Podcast comes out twice a week, previewing and recapping each Chiefs game. Subscribe and download on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Stitcher or wherever you get your podcasts.
