KANSAS CITY, Mo. — This is the third consecutive season the Kansas City Chiefs will skip the Wildcard Weekend round with a bye in the AFC playoffs.

However, it's the first season that only the No. 1 overall seed receives a bye. The NFL added an additional playoff team to both conferences this year. Below are the seeds for the AFC playoff bracket.

1. Kansas City Chiefs 14-2
2. Buffalo Bills 13-3
3. Pittsburgh Steelers 12-4
4. Tennessee Titans 11-5
5. Baltimore Ravens 11-5
6. Cleveland Browns 11-5
7. Indianapolis Colts 11-5

The Buffalo Bills will host the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 12:05 p.m. The Bills secured the No. 2 seed with a 56-26 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Miami was eliminated from the playoffs with that loss.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will host their AFC North foe the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 7:15 p.m. First-year Head Coach Kevin Stefanski leads the Browns to their first playoff berth since 2002. The Browns defeated the Steelers 24 to 22 on Sunday to clinch their playoff spot.

The Tennessee Titans won the AFC South with their last-second 41-38 victory over the Houston Texans. Tennessee will host the fifth seed Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 12:05 p.m.

The Chiefs divisional opponent will likely come from the lowest remaining seed of the Colts, Browns, Ravens or Titans. Kansas City would not see the Bills or Steelers unless they advance to the AFC Championship, which would be played at Arrowhead Stadium for a third consecutive season.

The divisional playoffs schedule is not expected to be announced until after all Wild Card games have been played.
